Friends, after much consideration, I sent the following message to Arbi: Hey Arbi, Please accept this message as my formal request to delete my membership at Bountiful. I have enjoyed my participation here. I have learned a lot from the members and have gained many new insights on gospel topics...

With sporadic internet access I haven't been around much recently. So, I am still looking for a full time job. It's still really tough with a bunch of experienced computer programmers looking for work. Most of the jobs that are available I am either over or under qualified. I am thinking of applying fo...

My wife found out that her mother in Kiev is in a coma yesterday, so today she took a flight to Ukraine. So for now it's me and the kids. We already miss her, but when her relatives say "Come now or it may be too late" it's time to put up with some inconveniences.

It's a girl! Did the official ultrasound this morning. -- Edited by Xanth at 21:26, 2008-10-06

I am trying to figure out if I should file a complaint along with a bunch of the other former employees of Sensory Sweep or not. I have been trying to hold out hope that things haven't been as bad as it looks. After working alternating 60 hour, and 80 hour weeks for 2 months without getting paid, I fell apart...

I was in a bad rollover accident today. My car was totalled. I escaped with a few cuts and bruises. I only had a slight cut to my head. The cop who examined the accident scene says that it's a miracle that I'm still alive, much less escaped with only a few cuts and bruises.

The company that I was working for layed me off a few weeks ago. The companies that owed them money couldn't pay on time because the companies that owed them couldn't pay, and so on. Something about some credit crisis I believe. So after 3 missing paychecks (which they say they will give to me when able) t...

Just being nosy so we can all celebrate it -- you can send me money any time..not just for my birthday. Mine is 12/28. I'm not giving the year--you can use any year after 1980--that'll be good enough for me.

...like that burrito you eat for lunch and returns at midnight. I went to Bulgaria for 2 wks. Yeah, not your average person's idea of a vacation, but it was good. After traveling for 26 hours on 3 1/2 hrs of sleep, I arrived home at 2 am today. Wow, am I glad to have a real shower and nice bed! And have a ch...

I hope you all continue to enjoy the forum. After being told several times "if you don't like it here, just leave," I decided to give it a try. So I went away for a few weeks to see if I could stand it. I could. Best Wishes to you all.

For some of you, perhaps that will give reason to celebrate. For others, perhaps it will give pause to consider how you have and should treat a brother. For as you treat someone who is to you only a cartoon picture and words in the virtual world is indeed a type of how you will treat someone in the real wor...

I was hoping my 1000th post could be all meaningful or whatever... like that you guys would all finally understand you can't get rid of me. This is my first day as a computer programmer. I have my own office with a desk, computer, phone, and whiteboard. It is very exciting. This also means I have internet access once again. Don't worry, my job will have priority over visiting here.

I was about to change something on my profile, and I saw that I joined the forum on August 27th last year, which means the forum was born a few days before that. Happy Birthday, Bountiful! 20K posts the first year--that's pretty impressive. Of course, Ray, Cat, Jason, and Arbi contributed over half of...
