When is your birthday?

Just being nosy so we can all celebrate it -- you can send me money any time..not just for my birthday.  cake.gif

Mine is 12/28.  I'm not giving the year--you can use any year after 1980--that'll be good enough for me.  biggrin

Doesn't the forum take care of that if you enter your birthday in your profile?

Where can I find yours?  it's not listed in your profile.  Plus I'm lazy...just answer the question!

That's my due date biggrin.gif I can almost guarantee I won't give birth that day, though.

My birthday is April 26.

I'm sure it's a great day to be born, Mirk. I've just never made it all the way to a due date. My kids have been 3 days, 8 days, and 4 days early.

My last birthday was this last fall. I turned 29. So no more birthdays for me, only anniversaries. :)

Yeah, cuz being 30 is awful and pretending you're not makes it all better. nana.gif

Jen, I've enjoyed my 30's far more than my 20's. For me at least, it felt like I finally started hitting my groove. Some of the struggles you've shared with us (being hard on yourself, being assertive) are ones I have to work on too. These things seem to get easier once you're a 30-something - and from what I've heard, I can't wait to hit my 40's.

Of course, it helps that I'm married to a guy 11 years older than me. So when I turned 30, it was "Big deal. DH is 41!" And when I turn 40, he's already hit the big 5-0.

It's all a question of perspective. smile.gif

edited because I obviously don't know my emoticons as well as I thought.

It's just weird for me. Thirty. 30. Three zero. I remember when my oldest siblings (who are getting into their 50's now) were thirty and they seemed so grown up and together. I still feel like I'm playing house! LOL

Oh yeah, I know that feeling. I still have that feeling.

I wonder if one of the big secrets of adulthood is that we all feel sometimes like we're faking it. I remember an older sister in my ward who I thought was a great mom saying to me, "The truth is, when it comes to parenting, we're all just winging it."
