Girls Basketball Team Wins 100-0, Seeks Forfeit DALLAS A Texas high school girls basketball team on the winning end of a 100-0 game has a case of blowout remorse. Now officials from the winning school say they are trying to do the right thing by seeking a forfeit...

Intelligent Design
(Preview)
I watched Ben Stein's movie, "Expelled", the other day. It was interesting in many ways, but one question that came up for me was this: Isn't every believing LDS, by default, a proponent of intelligent design? I mean, whether you believe the straight story from Genesis or whether you beli...

Windows vs. Linux
(Preview)
While my favorite OS by far remains the Mac OS, until I get my laptop fixed or replaced I'm using Linux on my PC hardware. Now, I'm a Windows expert, but I also know Unix, and I'm finding Ubuntu Linux to be a much more pleasant experience than Windows so far.

Why unions?
(Preview)
Why do we need unions today? I understand the history and necessity of them in the beginning. But, it seems as if unions are there to preserve jobs (even when someone should be fired), inflate salaries, and provide a ridiculous amount of benefits. Tell me I'm wrong and why.

Do you know of any indestructible mailboxes?

Our mailbox got destroyed recently. We'll probably be able to put it back together, but this is an ongoing problem. I'm told that previously it has been destroyed by farm equipment passing by or even the rural mail carrier (the rural mail carrier had a turqouise paint job, and the destroyed mailbox ha...

We're finally going to be able to move our cat house (a shed we remodeled to be the luxury condo for our cat studs).
