Brrr!

Today's high, where I live, was around 1 degree. Is anyone else having a cold snap?

The snow stopped squeaking today (Tuesday), but yeah, Sun and Mon were both around -7.

LM, I still have you beat. Our propane order had been scheduled for Wednesday. I thought we were fine because the gauge on the propane tank read 5%. I came to find out that it doesn't go lower than that and it was really out. So we were without heat until we got them to come out on Tuesday with the propane. The temp outside was 1 degree or lower, inside it got down to 44 degrees.

The thing is that, when that's what you're used to, that's freezing cold, whereas those of us who live in cold areas could be walking around in shorts and a tshirt in such weather.

When I was in Hawaii, the temps were around 80-85 degrees each day.  On one day at the Dole Plantation, I had just finished the maze and it was very warm.  My face was beet red, sweat running down my back, and one of the vendors outside the entryway was wearing a sweatshirt!  Where it was very warm to me, it was chilly to her.

It's actually been fairly warm in Colorado, but I understand that much of the rest of the nation is suffering.

I just planted spinach today. It's supposed to be almost 60 all week, and I didn't get it planted last fall.
