Sweetie-Pie!
(Preview)
One of my favorite things is hearing how married couples met and fell in love with each other. Now just wait a minute. For any who are feeling like they must explain that we don't fall in love, or it's a choice or whatever diverse takes there are on this matter... just stop it. I don't care. Whatever yo...

rewriting the music to "Silent Night" is morally, ethically, and otherwise WRONG. And Franz Gruber IS rolling in his grave. Also, why does our choir director seem to think that I'm Liberace or something? Give me something easy for a change, please!

Minor disaster
(Preview)
We got home from grocery shopping (of course) last night and our refrigerator and freezer had quit working. It took us until 11pm or later to pack up the frozen stuff, take it across town to my IL's to put in their deep freeze, and get everything else in coolers and outside. Then the danged thing magicall...

With Christmas just around the corner I was thinking of my favorite holiday movies/shows that I just have to watch on the T.V. with the family. It just isn't Christmas without them. So here's my list, feel free to share yours. A Christmas Carol: It just isn't Christmas without Dickens. I'm partia...

Cartoons and comics
(Preview)
I collect cartoons on DVD and comic strips both print and digital. Because my sense of humor is under the radar and generally irreverent, I have a collection of comics from various sources on a wide variety of topics which include, but aren't limited to, comic strips that poke fun at human foibles an...

BCS What Joke
(Preview)
If any season was able to illustrate this any better I can't recall it. The BCS system is a complete joke. The only undefeated team, Hawaii, finally moved into tenth place on the USA Today and Harris Poles but only because every other team ahead of them has violated the pooch this season. Yet the BCS s...

Enchanted (Possible spoilers)
(Preview)
So has anyone seen the movie Enchanted yet? I really enjoyed it. There are some scenes that make it innapropriate for children, but it's a cute romantic comedy that takes some potshots at modern love. I thought it was kinda sad how the world's image of love has changed to the point where the Disney love h...
