Has anyone used Knoppix Linux before? If so, can you tell me how to set which DNS servers it checks? The hard drive on my PC went south, and until I get a new one I want to use the system off of a Knoppix Linux CD. It's supposed to automatically get all the connection information it needs. But it can't resolve web sites. My router is set up with the DNS info, and Knoppix can see the router (I can ping it and the gateway). So I know that the internet connection is there - it's just not resolving domain names. And I don't know how to set DNS info in Linux.

Blue tooth and have a buddy send them to you over that. That's the only way I can get those ringtones on my phone. Of course I'm cheap and don't want to pay for all the extra cell phone features that would allow me to get them easier. Now if I could only get that Shakira video "Hips Don't Lie" to play on it........
