A movie to watch....
(Preview)
Last night my wife and I watched a DVD titled "An Unreasonable Man" which chronicled much of Ralph Nader's public life since his rise to prominence in the late 50's. Have any of you seen it? Though I disagree with much of Nader's political views, I have to hand it to him for his tenacity and u...

Now is the time for legal immigration

Now that corporations are beginning to be affected when they hire illegal immigrants, and that businesses are having a hard time filling jobs they once held - it is time to allow more legal immigration. It is something that cannot wait until the issue of illegal immigration is resolved. Our nation...

Another Child Victimized at the Hands Of A Repeat Offender Illegal Alien
(Preview)
Well now it's happened in California. An illegal immigrant has raped a 3 year old and it is the governments fault. The illegal immigrant had been deported seven years ago after molesting another child but he came back. In 2006 he was picked up for a DUI in San Bernadino. So he already has the molest...

A conservative blogger's reaction to Ron Paul's debate performance: Ron Paul is now starting to scare me. Glenn Reynolds calls him a kook, but that is charitable. He is worse. Paul gives me the willies. Something about watching him talk about "neo conservatives" in tonight's debate wit...

Romney at front of pack in Michigan

Mitt Romney appears to be ahead of the other Republican primary candidates in Michigan... not that it will matter much since this state is so strongly run by the unions and Democratic party machine... we have a terrible governor who has pretty much just sat around for 1 1/2 terms now watching the econo...

More on global warming

Here is an article about an expert climatologist who thinks that we're just in a normal warming cycle. What I thought was most interesting was his statement that if you went outside and spit it would cause more warming than a doubling of the co2. And it's not like this guy is some whacko who thinks that a m...

Most people talk about the importance of being law abiding, but it seems that that devotion to law disappears for many people when it comes to an area that they feel strongly about. Health Care

I'm really afraid to bring this up on here. But I'm wondering what a good solution is on health care, because I'm really stumped. I don't think that the government should socialize medicine.
