Now that corporations are beginning to be affected when they hire illegal immigrants, and that businesses are having a hard time filling jobs they once held - it is time to allow more legal immigration. It is something that cannot wait until the issue of illegal immigration is resolved. Our nation thrives with new blood.
Immigrants still come into the U.S.A. on a regular basis. Many that I'm aware of are sponsored by unrelated private individuals. As for promoting immigration of greater numbers, the best one can do is to express one's opinion to his/her congressional representative and senators.
I really think most of this illegal immigration mess is our fault for making the whole system so danged difficult to start with.
