Has anyone done this? Oldest Roper boy and I are contemplating a cycling trip from Texas to Utah next summer--about 1500 miles by lesser-traveled roads. Rather than two bikes with loaded panniers, we're thinking about a tandem with a trailer. Any recommendations?
