I'm surprised the show has stayed on as long as it did... Did anyone still watch it? I mean, I stopped watching it by the time I was like 12 or 13...
I thought this was a funny comment... "She knows the show," he said. "There's no doubt in my mind she could do the show." Why the only thing that is perhaps more complex than what Bob did was Barker's Beauties graceful waiving of the arms...
Ummm... yeah. You really have to be a rocket scientist to be qualified to host 'The Price is Right'. I think anyone could most likely pull it off.

I personally think Rosie is more than qualified to host a game of Plinko, err I mean Pinko!
Several sisters from the ward (and a few misguided husbands) including my wife went down last year and went to see the shoe. One of the sisters got called down. They were very excited when they got home. I was plum tuckered out as I had the kids all day. When all was said and done I think I got to see the back of my wife's head on national T.V. It was a white trash moment!
I love Price Is Right!! Gosh, cat, you have to slam Price Is Right AND country music to feel good about yourself?? Your life must really suck...
I have awesome memories of watching that show with my Grandma. And, fwiw, lots of Barker's beauties have been discovered on that show. In fact Vanna White was a contestant and was discovered on that show. I saw the footage and it was hilarious, because once the camera was on her it never left. Bob came out... tried to start the show... just laughed about it and was left a little speechless, you know how he gets. I really liked him. So, !!!!

I was really more or less making a comment on the job qualifications necessary for hosting a game show than slamming a show. Bob was just having one of those "Spay your dogs and cats" moments while hosting the Rose Parade after giving a cameo (albeit funny one) in a Adam Sandler movie...
Best moments I remember of the show were when the big huge people would get so overly excited when they would win that they were jumping all around and practically crushing him in their exuberance...
