So some you know about the whole Trogdor/Peasant's Quest fun on homestarrunner.com. The YM had a video game activity tonight. One of the songs on Guitar hero is the Trogdor song. And one of my sons informed me that on Guild Wars, there are two high level spells named after Rodgort (Trogdor backwards)...

Study finds virus contributes to obesity I found this article to be very interesting, and compelling... at least up to the part where it said this: If a viral cause of obesity can be confirmed, a vaccine could be developed, maybe within five to 10 years, to prevent the virus from making some people fat,...

My daughter just returned from Girl's Camp and she had a great time and even showed off the muscles she got from all the canoeing she did. But, I was talking to a friend the other night who's daughter didn't go to Girls Camp. She lead her parents to believe she was going all summer and they even paid their $5...

Well. It's official. I knew this day would come, but I didn't expect it quite so early... yep... Yesterday Hannah was smashing her baby brother's fingers in a cupboard door, and when mom told her to stop, she threw herself onto the ground, and exclaimed, "Mom! You're ruining my life." She t...

18 days until blastoff! I haven't been on a real vacation in over 2 years. (Single night campouts do not count here.) And I was 6 months pregnant the last vacation which is, um, less fun. I'm so excited!

When I started this thread, the total post count was at 19,991. Who will contribute the 20,000th post? You know, It's really tempting just to reply to my own post eight more times, but I won't. Statistically, it whould be Ray. but since he's not on right now, it might be Hiccups, Dyany, or Shiz.

Yesterday it seemed like I was walking through mud. Everything when slow. The work I was doing seemed so unproductive. Then, I was met with the news that a sister was taken to the hospital after a car accident. She seems to be fine but very sore and frustrating for the family and their situation. Then, I w...

How do you talk with your children about death? I have one child in particular who is very concerned that I might die. I really don't know what the proper way to respond to her concerns are...
