The TGIF Thread...

I can't help there Jason. We missed it too. Our cable provider in CO had dropped sci-fi from it's basic line-up at just the wrong time. After we moved, we got sci-fi back, but Rose was a goner by then.

Anyone doing anything fun after work or over the weekend. Harry Potter is playing at the drive in so that's where we're headed if the kids clean up the house like the good little house elves should.

I have a date with hubby... he is off tonight for the first time since the end of June!!! Yep, you read that right, NO nights off in all of July. I HATE this nursing shortage, and he is the boss... so he gets to cover a lot. Most nursing students leave this area, once they graduate... because the wages are lower here than many other areas... still for us it makes sense to stay put cause our house payment is very low, be bought before the boom... There is always a shortage of nurses here (even higher than the national average shortage).

We are taking a week off later this month... I can't wait!

Edited to fix spelling and grammar... It's time for a NAP!

I love the drive-in! We have one close by, too. w00t.gif I heard there's only ... not very many left in the whole country. Shame.

Got no cool plans this weekend. Cocokid#1 gets home from scout camp tomorrow. smile.gif

Here it is... Friday again. Today we had a dual birthday party for the now 5 year old and the 1 year old. w00t.gif So much fun. Went horse-riding and now MrCoco has 3 swimming, one's at football and the babe's wanting attention from me.

Tomorrow cocokid#2 and I are leaving at 5:30am for a fantabulous horseback ride. biggrin.gif

Went to the drive in movies again. This makes three weeks in a row. It's so cheap we can't pass it up and they've been playing good movies. Makes it really easy with the new baby too! This week we saw Transformers. I was thinking it was going to be stupid but it was really good. The special effects were great and they had the same Optimus Prime voice I remember from when I was a kid watching the cartoons. There was some objectionable references to self gratification they could have left out though. Fortunately the kids were asleep by then.

I heard the Transformers was surprisingly good, too. Our drive-in is playing Ratatouille and Meet the Robinsons... I think we'll go Thursday. smile.gif
