Two evenings ago I attended a speech by John McManus, President of the John Birch Society.  The topic was "Americas Economic Meltdown".
 
Near the end he stated: "Many more Americans have to realize that what is happening cannot be the product of stupidity or ignorance.  There is design behind what is happening, some of which we have already noted.  If not interrupted, it will lead to a New World Order and the destruction of our country and our freedom."  
He went on to explain that for the New World Order to be established, America would have to be reduced economically and militarily to the same level to which all other nations will be raised or lowered.  The goal is a "one world" government.  He even quoted from a book "Memoirs" by David Rockefeller "Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as "internationalists" and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global and political and economic structure - one world if you will. If thats the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

During the April 1972 General Conference, then Apostle Ezra Taft Benson recommended a book which he had endorsed, and that was promoted by the John Birch Society.  Now out of print, it is "None Dare Call It Conspiracy" by Gary Allen can be read online at

I have copies of statements of 5 Church General Authorities who have spoken of such a threat to our freedoms, as well as of 7 congressmen at diffferent times, of 1 US President, and of 1 UN Secretary General.  They speak of what can only be treason on the part of Americans in positons of power and wealth.
