Global warming

Global warming has been a lot in the news, especially with Barack Obama promising to bankrupt the coal industry and send electricity prices soaring. This gave rise to the thought on my part that I'm about as happy with them basing national economic policy on the global warming hoax as I would be with them promising to fix the fed gov budget problems by finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

It seems, Arbi, that you consider the global warming thing to be a hoax, as do I also.  I think it is significant that people like Al Gore, Bill & Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Barak Obama, Barbara Boxer, Joe Biden, Ted Kennedy, and other proponents of global government are among the loudest demanding actions to curtail global warming that would hurt American industry.

I just heard this the other day and found it quite funny. William F. Buckley once said about global warming, "It's the first time we've been bulled by a Gore." Ha!

William F. Buckley did have a way with words. But frankly, I'm shocked that they base national policy off of something as absurd as global warming. Yesterday I heard a radio show from 9 years ago that predicted with certainty that a certain ice shelf and change the climate of countries on the Atlantic within a few years. They were talking about it as if it were blindingly obvious fact and yet, 9 years later, it hssn't occurred.
