My thoughts on the Prop 8 fallout

So far, gay riots in the aftermath of prop 8 have not died out. This is obviously not an issue that they're going to let be. I have heard that it is possible that the California Supreme Court may suspend Prop 8 this week. If they do, there is no justice; that means that they're ruling from on high with no set in stone guidelines. The Prop 8 supporters are already talking about leading a recall drive for those judges if that happens. They may even appeal to the US Supreme Court (I don't know how, but then it seems ridiculous to me that the California Supreme Court could strike down a Constitutional amendment).
If they don't strike it down, I think that we're going to see the violence explode. And you don't need to live in California for it to affect you. Already, here in Colorado, someone put a burning Book of Mormon on the steps of one of our buildings.

Is the coverage of the demonstrations being stifled since it portrays these gay protestors as militant?  Just wondering.
