Since I am out of work and live in the country, I won't be doing anything different. But a lot of guys on arfcom, a huge gun site, are either not going in or going loaded for bear just in case things go bad, as in Rodney King bad. It seems that many, myself included, feel that if McCain wins, and maybe if Obama wins, there might be some real problems.
What do you all think?

I do think there will be problems if McCain wins. I think of the claims of Bush stole the election last time and now you Obamalamadingdong the new messiah running. Oh yes, I definitely think there will be problems.
As to the citizenship, I do not think he is a citizen. I think he was born in Kenya. Even if he was in born in HI, he became a citizen of Indonesia when he went there. Indonesia did not allow for dual citizenship, he appears to have been adopted by his step-father which I believe would make him an Indonesian citizen, and he was listed as Muslim. He is actually quite possibly in this country illegally. McCain produced his documents without a problem, Obama won't. A lawsuit has been filed and Obama ordered to produce the documents, and they are fighting doing so. Why? If you want to be POTUS, your life is an open book. He is hiding something.
As to hanging out the shingle, not so simple and takes a while to build a clientele, and then actually trying to get them to pay you. The only reason doctors and dentists make it is because of insurance. Most solo attorneys or small practices have a hard time. I have done it the past, it is not worth the hassle, no benefits.

I'll be packing, like I always do. Tomorrow my wife starts her journey to a concealed-carry permit by taking an 8 hour personal protection class offered by a husband/wife team who work closely with our police force. We currently don't have a gun for her to carry, so depending on how gung-ho she is, we might go get a gun.
When push comes to shove, neither the place I live, nor work, nor the space in between, has much of a minority population. If there's problems here in my end of Colorado, they're more likely to happen in Pueblo, downtown Denver, and maybe downtown Colo Springs.
But yeah, I think I'll take my laptop home election day anyway. If the morning after the election is full of 'interesting times', I'll stay home too.
