My dad made

a hydraulic wood splitter. He ordered a hydraulic thingie to power it, and welded it all together using an old trailer, the motor to an old pressure washer, a couple of splitting wedges, and other random things.

It's COOL. Cuts through huge logs like butter.

My parents and my brother live on the same acreage and both heat their houses with wood stoves, so it will be put to good use.

Hey, that sounds neato. How come you don't live on the same acreage, too?

Not everyone is as cool as you, Coco.

It's my brother's place, and he let my parents put a house in it when I was ten (my brother is 20 years older than me). I grew up there. I have my eye on a piece of land nearby. With the house it's only just over 600 grand. Maybe when prices drop I can afford it!
