No candidate slides around and through the issues easily unless the media so intends.

Compare the unfair hack jobs and misinformation that the media has disseminated about Ron Paul with the egregious statements Mitt Romney has come across with that largely went unchallenged.

Usually when Media retracts the smear was front page and the retraction or correction is small back page not so obvious. Is it not?

It could have the same laxative effect as that synthetic oil stuff that the family of the former Chrysler chief (you know, the guy who "saved" Chrysler, Lee Iacocca) introduced to the market to cook chips in... my mind may be a sieve as to what the product was called (something like Oleo?), but anyone who ate the stuff and had adverse reaction in the gastrointestinal tract certainly won't forget what they felt!
