Family Home Storage Starter Kit & Home Storage Center Order Form

This is new on Provident Living. Not a bad price for some basics to get started with or to add to your storage.

A home storage order form is available to download to assist you in planning your next purchase from a home storage center. The prices are effective as of the date printed in the lower-left corner of the form. Copies of the form are also available at all home storage centers.

The home storage order form can be filled out using your personal computer if you choose. As you enter desired quantities, the form automatically updates your total cost. The form can then be printed, saved for future reference, or even e-mailed to a friend.

You may want to bring the form with you when you visit the home storage center. Versions of the form are available for centers in the United States and in Canada. Please select the version of the form that meets your needs.

I want to get my food storage in one big purchase. I'm not much for dilly-dally. I already have a year's supply of water. Should I go through the LDS cannery or one of those online places that sells year's supply of food? I think the online place would be nice because it is all set, I don't have to think or go farther than my computer. Of course it would cost more, which is where the cannery looks more appealing. I have been in a singles ward, so have been frustrated for the last 6 months when trying to get them to organize a trip to the cannery.

RE: Family Home Storage Starter Kit & Home Storage Center Order Form

It really depends on what you want a year supply of.  If you have the $$$ this is what I would suggest:  http://beprepared.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_FS%20Y500_A_name_E_Traditional%20Year%20Supply%20of%20Dehydrated%20Foods%20(12%20Cases)

You do need to realize that is only going to get you 1080 calories per day so you will either want to purchase two kits, or supplement the one with other products.  I have actually done both.  I have several year kits and other items to add variety.

I don't know that they have promo codes. I get the monthly flier with their sales and don't remember ever seeing a promo code. The traditional kit is currently on sale. They do that every few months. Also, I would not buy one of the larger kits, you get more for your $$$ buying the traditional multiple times.
