I also liked the discussion about 72-hour kits. It helps if people actually put some thought into what they might be using it for and what's realistic, rather than just going down a checklist.
I'm thinking it's actually a good idea for us, since a brushfire could get out of hand and require mass evacuation. I should probably go rotate stuff...
