I found this on Drudge.....of course it is only one person's opinion, but coming from a woman who works in the "industry" I found it revealing:

"PR.com: "Do you find that the climate of the adult industry changes when there is a Republican administration versus Democratic?"


Jenna Jameson: "Absolutely. The Clinton administration was the best years for the adult industry and I wish that Clinton would run again. I would love to have him back in office. I would love to have Al Gore in office. When Republicans are in office, the problem is, a lot of times they try to put their crosshairs on the adult industry, to make a point. It's sad, when there are so many different things that are going on in the world: war, and people are dying of genocide...I look forward to another Democrat being in office. It just makes the climate so much better for us, and I know that once all our troops come home, things are going to be better and I think that getting Bush out of office is the most important thing right now."

In Italy they had porn stars serving in the highest seats of government... then again that's something of a tradition (Lucia Borgia comes to mind...) :)

I'd prefer to find out what dentists and system analysts, and academics and garbage men think...

OK, she gets to go to a dinner for those who gave money to the Republican Party. Lots of other people do the same. A porn "star" has the same rights as anybody else. It isn't like Bush was inviting her to a private dinner, or consulting her on policy.

Ah, Shiz, but that's not the point. We were talking about which party the pornographers prefer. I have no doubt that they overwhelmingly prefer the democrats, but that's not exclusively the case.

There's always an exception. There are gay Republicans, too. And pro-choice Republicans. If you boot out the folks who don't exactly "fit" your ideology, then your party isn't going to be big enough to win elections.

I don't care what pornstars think, not am I influenced by what dentists and system analysts, and academics and garbage men think.  But how many Americans have swallowed what people like Hanoi Jane, Babs and Rosie have had to say.?
