Anyone from Utah hear that they're moving the LDS Business college to the Triad Center? Anyone care to comment? I think it'll be nice to have the place a bit more academic and less commercial... though it's really a commecial academic... :)

Yes, they announced the move a while ago in conjunction with plans the Church was presenting (preliminary at the time) for the downtown area. BYU SLC classes will also be in the Triad Center. I think it is a good move and puts LDS Business College where "the business" is. It is also a good move to bring more people to downtown SLC.
The church does a real good job of keeping its grounds from becoming dumpy or trashy. It'd be nice if they took over more of it... of course... a lot of (mostly nonLDS reactionary types) Utahns despise the church for taking such stewardship...

There are a lot of complaints about the Church having so much of downtown SLC yet no one else was willing to invest in downtown SLC. Darned if you, darned if you don't. Here is a link to the Church's (more specifically Property Reserve's) plans for downtown called City Creek Center.
