I watched this speach from the Heritage Foundation and found it interesting. It kind of changed my perspective on Libs. It is over 45 minutes long though but very interesting.
I saw this about a week ago, and thought it very thought provoking. In fact I was thinking about posting a link to it, but I have been pretty lazy. :)
The idea that discrimination is always wrong inevitably leads to the idea that choosing between right and wrong, is 'wrong' (which doesn't make any sense, but I think that's his point)
Many lefties feel that the only way for people to live in peace is if nobody holds any deepfelt beliefs or principles. Many of them are good people, but horribly misguided.
I like the part in the Book of Mormon where there were no more -ites, which I take to mean no discrimination.
I like your analysis PT. In those short generations after Christ's visit to the Nephites, the people lived their deepfelt beliefs and principles, and they lived in peace.
The promise and prophecy for America is this: When we serve the God of this land, we will be blessed with peace and prosperity. When we turn from the God of this land, our enemies will wage war against us. Hopefully, we will be stirred up to a rememberance.
I think 9/11 was a wake-up call. But I think we collectively hit the snooze button.

No judgements, no right or wrong, etc because it is discrimination. The whole talk finally made me understand why modern libs actually seem to hate America and see us as the cause for all the world's ills. The way he articulates the thought process of modern libs finally lead me to understand why they think like this. Sayet has a web blog that is also very good at his web site http://www.evansayet.com/politik.shtml
