Is Barak Obama a muslim?

Barack Obama professes to be a Christian. His father was a Muslim, and that makes him one as well according to the laws of Islam. So, which is he? And, given that certain muslims (many, in fact) say that if you renounce the muslim faith you must be put to death, what would that mean for a president Obama who would have to deal with muslim extremists? Would there be any hope for diplomacy in that situation?

Who knows... considering that prisoners in the UK that are muslim recently got a ruling in their favor that they can have the toilets in their cells moved 90 degrees so that they aren't facing or have their back on the direction they pray when they are relieving themselves claiming it is against their religion... who knows what that crazy mish-mash of religious belief allows / disallows anymore.

I can just imagine some wacko imman saying "You are an infidel if you urinate in the same direction as you pray towards Mecca..."

I'll have to find the link to the news article I read it in the last day or so...
