The more I think of it, the more I realize how disasterous the Baker-Hamilton report is, if we follow through with it. Not only would we be betraying our friends in Iraq, but we would be helping our enemies in the region in their goal to destroy Israel (and us).
The Iraq study group plan is a complete capitulation and sells out Israel which I don't understand how the ISG thinks they can create policy for Israel anyway. The ISG is not elected nor is there a provision for it in the Constitution. As far as I'm concerned Bush should just play lip service to it. The whole thing is a joke!
Scarey indeed. I'm a little concerned about the level of rhetoric that is displayed in the article. That seems to overshadow the listing of facts to back the assertions made by the author. It seems to be on about the same level of dogma as Crazy Tom over in Iran in ways, just the other way around...
I'm more concerned about the rumors I've heard about folks from Hamas meeting with Democratic leaders and influential business people in Europe...
