Wife passed driver's test

My wife passed the driver's license test yesterday! That means that she's now a licensed driver, and can get herself about town legally. That's a huge thing for a stay at home, homeschooling mom.
The only thing she missed on the test was she didn't stop right at the limiting line at a stop sign.

Congratualtions, Arbilad, and to your wife.  My daughter's facing that now, having to pass the test to get her license.  She took driver's ed at the local university since we weren't prepared to home school driver's ed.  Now if we can get her used to the big old truck, or get the little car's transmission fixed...

That's great Arbi. Why is it that she is just now getting licensed, rather than when she was a teenager?

Unless she is a teenager. Ooops.

My wife is 30 years old. I'm not that weird.
She's from the Ukraine, and most people there never learn how to drive. Even those few who have licenses and cars to drive.
Most people there depend on public transportation.

Wow, Ukraine. How did you meet her? Did you go on your mission there?

He did! He did! He did serve a mission to the Ukraine!

Now... if he'd just tell us his story... :)

Hmmmmmm....

Man serves mission to Ukraine, meets girl, they later marry.

That story has much potential!

Tell us! Tell us! Pretty please?

It's fairly simple. When I went back to Ukraine on business, a lady from one of the branches I had served in introduced me to my future wife. We wrote back and forth a lot, and I visited. We decided that we were a good match; I brought her over and in a few months we got married.
And Ray, I'm sure your brother has told you that an awful lot of Elders who served over there got married to Ukrainian women. Some even met their wives while on their mission. I know of a specific example of that.

So Arbi, the real questions we're asking here but are too polite to ask are:

1.  How does the love of your life like driving?

2.  How comfortable are you sitting in the passenger seat when she drives?  ha ha ha ha ha!

She loves having the freedom.
To be honest, I'm still a bit nervous to be in the car with her. That's not because she's doing anything wrong, but because she does things differently from me. For instance, she takes turns faster than I do. She is still within the safe limits, but I would take the same turn slower than she does.
