There seems t o be an interesting flap going on over Nevada Senator Harry Reid having been invited to speak at one or more firesides in Nevada.   Some members who consider him a poor representative of the Church are protesting the invitations.   Protests have already been sent to Church HQ.    Some details are posted at:

I feel a little sick to my stomach at the thought of Harry Reid speaking at a church building. I don't suppose he darkens the doors there often.

"The so-called Fireside with Senator Harry Reid that was to be held at the Tule Springs Stake Center 6051 Dorrell Lane, Las Vegas at 7 pm tonight, has been cancelled due to Security concerns according to Ward Leadership of the Rainbow Crest Ward."
