My son wrote this and I like it.

Cats and rubber bands

My kitty likes his rubber bands.
He stalks them like they're mice.
He leaps: they bounce and wiggle.
He thinks that's very nice.

He stretches them between his claws,
they leap, and he gives chase.
We're bound to find the silly things
in almost any place.
