Waving a sign that hopes for the death of Obama within his first year of office is inappropriate. After the last 8 years of complete vitriol for president Bush from the left, many on the right now feel they are entitled to respond with equal ferocity. Learning civility in public discourse is an admirable goal, though doing so through administrative censorship runs contrary to our nation's principles of freedom. There are better ways to teach.
Political cartoons are all in the spirit of good constructive criticism of our leadership, but those have been banned too. Besides, I don't feel the right to ban anyone's public criticism of my political beliefs.
