That depends on who Obama sends instead.

I can't think of anyone who would be worse then her. Equal, but not worse.

SoS puts her not far away in the line of succession. If I were Obama I'd watch my back.

I wish people would realize that the US President is just a puppet of Satan and his latter-day gadiantons.  He rules insofar as the Lord allows him to.  Obama, Biden, McCain, Hillary, or whoever; the only difference might be the way they carry out their directions.  But the goals would be the same.

lundbaek, I think it matters in a very real way because if we had people in power who were also righteous, we could work against those who would take our freedoms away. I think it's about as likely that I'll wake up tomorrow morning on a golden bed as it is that Obama would knowingly appoint a righteous person, but that doesn't mean that I won't bemoan an unrighteous one as a lost opportunity. That's why I'm glad that Ron Paul is still a congressman; he can at least make some difference.

Re. Ron Paul making a difference, I think most Americans never heard about him or his pro Constitution political philosophies until he ran for president.  For years I and others regularly received his emailings of Texas Straight Talk and other reports of great interest and concern, but I think most Americans never heard anything of him.  Now, as a result of his candidacy for president, many more people have been awakened to our "awful situation" and to what it will take to correct it.  He continues to write weekly at least and tells it like it is, which I think is a great help to our understanding of our "awful situation" and its causes.  That may be his greatest achievement.

Most if not all of Ron Paul's speeches on the House floor are accessable.  I have for years hoped that those LDS congressmen would take a lesson from his faithful defense of constitutional and moral principles, (reminds me of that line "firm and steadfast, and immovable in keeping the commandments of the Lord!") that seem to be lost on those traitors to the Constitution that so many LDS voters keep sending back to Congress.  They seem to be beyond feeling.

According to Article 1, Section 6 of the US Constitution, Hilary is not eligible to be Secretary of State. While Hilary was a Senator, the Congress increased Condi Rice's salary.

Here's the text:
No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been increased during such time; and no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during his Continuance in Office.

The US Constitution no longer stands in the way of the latter-day gadiantons running our country.

Ref. Sunday School Lesson 46  What did Moroni teach about the danger of secret combinations? (See Ether 8:2122.) Why did he include these things in his record? (See Ether 8:23, 26.) How can we recognize secret combinations and protect ourselves from them? (See Ether 8:2325.)

Congress voted yesterday to reduce the secretary of state's salary back to the previous level. I doubt the $4700 is going to hurt Clinton. Seems they are following the constitution, eh?

You're right, I don't think it will hurt her. But I am sort of surprised that they bothered.
