Arnold Schwarzenegger showed his true liberal colors in an interview on CNN when he encouraged prop 8 opponents not to give up, that the courts would defeat prop 8.

"Former 49ers football star and prominent Mormon SteveYoung made a surprising statement by placing political signs in the windows of his house and on his front yard.
"CBS Television Station KPIX, shot video of two official No on Prop. 8 signs in windows of the Young family home in Palo Alto, California. The video also shows three Halloween themed signs displayed on the lawn. Those signs urge people to vote against Proposition 8, which seeks to ban Gay Marriage in California."
In addition, the television station reports that Youngs wife Barbara, made a $50,000 donation to the No on Proposition 8 campaign. It is also reported that in an e-mail to the gay advocacy group Equality California, Barbara Young made the following statement: "We believe all families matter, and we do not believe in discrimination, therefore, our family will vote against Prop. 8"
During his dinner speech at the National Review Institute's Conservative Summit, the former governor said he was a strong opponent of a November 2003 state supreme court decision making Massachusetts the first state to legalize gay marriage.
"I opposed then, and I do now, gay marriage and civil union," he said. "I am proud of the fact that I and my team did everything within our power and within the law to stand up for traditional marriage."
Romney struck a more moderate tone during his 2002 campaign for governor and his unsuccessful 1994 Senate race against Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass. In a letter sent during the Senate race, Romney promised a gay GOP group that he would be a stronger advocate for them than Kennedy was.
Steve Young said that officially he has no position. But IMHO, there can be no fence sitters in this battle. On another board, someone excused Steve's wife by saying that she has a gay relative, so she's closer to the issue. I don't think that having a gay relative changes the morality of the thing. Gay "marriage" is still very wrong, even if all your relatives are gay.
