Army to shoot live pigs in training exercise

PETA is upset that the army will be shooting live pigs to train its combat medics. I don't have a problem with this. You have to train them somehow. Simulations can never cover all the possibilities. But PETA is having a fit of apoplexy over it.

They're army guys.  You bet your sweet bippy the exercise will end with a big honkin' bbq pig roast.  Even if "The Army" says they dispose of the pigs, I'm thinking someone will go get them from where they were "disposed of".

So, the medics are saving the pigs for thier medical training? Or the soldiers are using them for shooting practice? confuse.gif
