Help me think of quick easy lunches

...that my 10 year old can make/heat for his brothers. I'm beginning to have some serious food issues and nausea and I know from experience that it might get a lot worse before it gets any better. It's better if I stay away from food prep whnever I can. So, I'm looking for simple ideas that they can use to feed themselves.

So far we have frozen burritos, pbj's, canned soup, and grilled cheeses. He's not great with boiling water yet, so ramen's not on the list. He can handle the sandwich maker to do grilled cheese, though. Hmmm, I suppose I could get ingredients for pizza pockets to be made in the sandwich maker.

Any other ideas?

Ravioli! thumbsup.gif

I like making a plate full of sandwiches ahead of time like if we're heading into a weekend, wrap them in plastic wrap (halves) and have them sitting on the plate to grab. Different kinds.

We bought several 98 cent or 88 cent TV dinners recently, too... with the intent to grab them.

Oh, ravioli is a good idea as long as I impress upon my oldest the importance of not letting the 2 year old escape to decorate the walls with orange fingers.

Frozen dinners and pizzas are good, too, except they can get expensive. I might be able to arrange for some leftovers from dinner the night before as well.

Quesadillas are a hit around here. Homemade Lunchables, too. Wraps to beat sandwich boredom. Sometimes we even do Nutella wraps :) (but that's rare).

Frozen corn dogs and tacquitos (chicken or ground beef rolled up in a corn tortilla shell) are favorites at my house.

Also toasted bagels with cream cheese, butter, or pbj.

thumbsup.gif on quesadillas - 30 seconds in the microwave and it's ready. The hardest part is grating the cheese.

I buy my cheese gated already. (Well, the kind they'd be using for quesadillas.)
