Canned butter temporarily out of stock

On both sites where I've seen it earlier, they no longer have canned butter. One site mentions that you should tell them if you're interested and they'll email you when it becomes available again.
Granted, it is a foreign product and shortages can happen. But two website being out of it for an undetermined period of time is strange. Probably the result of panic buying, but the end result is the same; I don't know where to buy canned butter right now.

I was seeing a shortage on canned cheese as well. Though, I'll tell you what there is plenty of. Restaurant size #10 cans of nacho cheese at Sam's. That's what I'm using for cheese (besides the reg cheese in my freezer) in my food storage currently. It's cheap, almost like real food and I can make it yummy for my family with a few added ingredients that I also store.

Normal tasting canned cheese is also currently in stock. You can make grilled cheese sandwiches and stuff like that with it.

Hmmm, it would seem I imagined the shortage of canned cheese. (Just rechecked a couple of places.) Perhaps the shortage was in my pocketbook. LOL. That stuff is expensive. The canned nacho cheese is $5.30 for a #10 can. That's a big part of the appeal.

Dude. I can do soooo many things with that nacho cheese. I made a yummy soup with it. I'm plotting a casserole. It would be yummy on beans and/or rice. It could even be good spread on homemade bread if I ever figure out how to make that. giggle.gif
