Herbal Tea

Do you drink it? What are your favorite flavors?

My current favorite is Bigelow Pomegranate. Way Yum. I also like their Red Raspberry. I have to be in just the right mood for mint. From Celestial Seasonings I like Almond Sunset and Mandarin Orange Spice best. I have a peach one to try from them too, but I haven't opened it yet. I have high hopes for using it to make iced tea this summer, though.

I toured the Celestial Seasonings Plant when we still lived in Colorado. That was fun. And educational. They have to keep the mint all in a special vault room, so it won't stink up everything else. They let us walk into the room and it was overwhelming. Made my eyes water and my nose run. If I had to work in that vault, I'd need a full face mask.

I don't but my mom does. After having to give up Nestea I just have avoided tea.

I like herbal tea. I keep forgetting to drink it. I've got several boxes in my cupboard right now. I like the orange ones and the minty ones, too. I like chamomile, too. And the Red Zinger.

Where's the Celestial Seasonings plant exactly?

I try different flavors now and then, but I always come back to chamomile. I went through a phase where mint tea with creamer in it was the best thing ever.

Or Gunbarrel, depending on who you ask. The address is actually in Boulder, but it's physically located in a place called Gunbarrel.

I wish I could get into herbal teas, but I can't.

My tastebuds must be a little off, because they smell terrific and yummy... and taste like hot water.

Well, in that case, I'll add Vienna Sausage to the list.

Yeah, I totally don't recommend using 2 yr olds to make friends with dobermans.

My understanding is that that is frowned upon.

BTW, I don't like dobermans after having been bitten by two different dobermans on separate occassions as a paper boy.

Ever seen a King Dobie? It's a doberman/Great Dane cross. It's like a Doberman on steroids.

I've only seen one, at a house my friend was babysitting. He could lift his nose and look me right in the face. He also farted really loud. giggle.gif

Best herbal tea ever--CS Tension Tamer.  Yep, that's the name.  It has catnip in it!  I am almost addicted to it--so good with honey.  Mmmmm.

Lipton contains tea leaves--which is against the WoW.  I make it a habit to read the ingredients of any tea.  If the ingredients have the word "tea" in it, then I stay clear of it.  Most likely it's against the WoW.

So, I went and read the ingredients on my box of tension tamier and I must say, I'm a little concerned. It contains Eleuthero (ginseng) and ginger which are both stimulants. Yet it's supposed to end up soothing and calming me? That catnip and chamomille must be a strong combo. weirdface.gif
