How much soda pop do you personally drink?

I cut way back on soda consumption when I noticed constant bad health and inability to concentrate. Now I don't drink it often at all.

Maybe a couple times per year. I don't like most soda pop. I like rootbeer, creme soda, ginger ale, and sassparilla. I look at soda as if it was a cup or can full of candy which makes it unapealing. Aside from the sodas mentioned above, I really don't like the taste.

We never buy it at home unless it's Sprite for a sick kid. Once in a while when we go out I'll order a root beer for a treat. It's so dang expensive, too! I hear the cup actually costs more than the pop, so you know places like Wendy's are making a killing on their pop.

I only drink it when my wife buys it for a birthday for kids, and then, I prefer rootbeer above all others.

Very rarely. Growing up, we drank more Dr. Pepper than water.

Isn't Doctor Pepper carbonated Prune Juice?

Darn you, bok.  Making me admit that I suck it down.  Actually I've cut back tremendously in the past month or so.

I don't like water.  Never have.  But, I like the carbonated water a lot.  One of my favorite drinks is sparkling water (carbonated water) with fresh lime.  Mmmm, good.  And it prevents scurvy.

Why do you ask, btw?

Something like 2-4 servings a week, maybe more.

I have been trying to cut back on any kind of soft drink. I like Root Beer and Lemonade. However it's very tempting when the pop machine at my work costs only 25 cents/can.

I avoid anything with caffeine, since it really aggravates my OCD and anxiety.

I sit less than 50' away from a refrigerator my employer keeps stocked with free sodas. My average is probably 12/week.

I did manage to lose 20lbs with this average, and caffiene doesn't seem to affect me much at all.

At one place I worked about 50' away from the cafeteria, where all fountain drinks where free. That was when I discovered that too many sodas make me feel really icky, and so I cut back a lot.

I usually drink 3-4 two liter bottles a week, plus an occasional can on the way to work.

I only diet pop, regular stuff is too sweet for me. My drink of choice is A&W Diet Root Beer, I love it. The next is Diet Coke with caffeine. The caffeine gives it a slightly bitter flavor I like. Plus, it is more effective for me with headaches then ibuprofen and then in the afternoon I have to admit wakes me up and I get more done.

Once in a while I will get diet Sprite or diet Sunkist.

I like the reduced sugar lemonade too.

I like caffeinated soda better too, Val.  People think I'm nuts, but I can tell a difference in the taste between caffeinated or non-caffeinated.  I'll choose the non-caffeinated version if I have a choice, but not when it comes to my Mountain Dew.  Gotta have the high octane stuff.

I can also tell when a can of soda is past the expiration date, too.  Ewww, it has a horrible twang to it.

you should put a tooth in a cup of pop and see how long it takes to disolve. It's like a fourth grade science project... then you can maybe see the error of your ways... :)

Yea, cause we all know that we are going to hold a mouthful of soda for a couple of days.

The taste and color of Mountain Dew reminds me of one thing, of course the only reason for doing the Dew is to keep going.  I have to admit, there have been mornings where I have had to do the Dew to keep on the road.

Hey, did y'all know that Mountain Dew in Canada doesn't contain caffeine? It's true.

I have pop every 1-2 weeks. That's 'cuz root beer floats on Sunday night is a tradition I grew up with, and now do with my family. (Root beer floats, popcorn, and watching Disney as a family. Good times.)

There's this discount store not too far away from where I live, that one of my friends likes to go to. Most of the stuff is ok, like the new cereal that just happens to be in a deformed box.

It turns out that it wasn't such a good idea to buy 2 cans of soda for 25 cents. These were way past the expiration date. I managed to drink through half of one before I couldn't stand it anymore, it tasted like it had desolved all of the metal on the inside of the can, and it left my teeth a red color for a while. bleh
