Entitlement mentality

A firefighter was fired for starting a fire in her father's house as part of a suicide attempt. She is now appealing her firing, saying that there is no reason that she can't be a firefighter despite starting a fire.
This woman is nutso crazy. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I knew that one of the local firefighters deliberately started a fire in a residence. They had good reason for firing her. But she feels entitled to the job.

Yep, the greed takes over for common sense. Reminds me of the woman who slipped in the supermarket and won big even after the supermarket proved she was the one who made the spill she slipped on.

I met with an insurance guy this morning and he told of how this company driver was involved in an accident. About two weeks later the guy they had been in the accident with called the company saying his neck was stiff and told them he wanted $2000. The owner of the business told him to go jump in a lake so now they are being sued for a couple hundred grand and the insurance has paid out about 15k already in legal expenses.

Courts have become as good as winning the lottery for some people.

The city will probably pay her something to just go away.
