For decades, I have served corned beef and cabbage for St. Patty's day, but this year our market did not have any. Not one! I suppose I could have looked elsewhere, but I didn't. No one here seemed disappointed, so we're good.

I had some corned beef recipe that called for the corned beef in a can a few years back... There's still the hammer dents in the countertop cuz I couldn't get the **** thing open and it ticked me off so bad. ashamed

I learn so many things hanging out virtually with American Saints. The whole cabbage and corned beef thing is new to me (I've been told it's Irish-American), but since Dh loves corned beef, I may have to serve it next year.
