So, where in heaven's name can anyone find truly unbiased news? I think Fox news does a decent job, but is there anywhere else out there? SNL did a skit on Obama--hilarious as the news anchors excused themselves from giving unbiased news because they were in the Obama camp.
And why is it that news can't be unbiased (as much as possible) anymore? We have ratings for movies--can't we have ratings for news? I expect to get an opinion when I watch O'Reilly, but if I'm watching the evening news, come on!

If you have ever been misquoted or seen a story about the church full of factual errors you know how fustrating it is when reading the news. I just assume they mess up on every story in a similar manner.

I'm thinking unbiased news does not exist. The best you can hope for is transparent news, where the newscasters admit their bias, and you can judge accordingly. Hugh Hewitt likens interpreting newsw to making a golf swing, where you aim right or left to correct for the wind or the rough.

I took a two year break from watching cable news, then watched it at Christmas time. Cable news shows are biased, FOX is especially bad in their "hard news" shows.
But, their bigger bias comes not from political slant, but sensationalistic slant. It is as if the world is going to end if they don't spend all day talking about nothing. It is like watching Seinfeld.
