Jen, the best I can recommend is decide what issues are most important to you, and find which candidate (major party or third party) best matches your beliefs on those issues. If it is someone that you find objectionable for some reason, pray for further light and knowledge. Either you'll be shown a candidate that you don't object to and can agree with, or you will be able to overcome your objections to that candidate.

My best friend from childhood's brother is a brainy doctor dude in Kalifornia. He was all anti-Bush last go-round. Generally, he's sort of liberal. He says he's a one issue voter this time. He's voting for Ron Paul.
Sorry- His one issue is foreign policy.
