I saw this question on another forum, and thought it worth asking here. If something were to happen and electricity and food delivery went away, what would you most regret not having in your preparations? For me I need to get a wider range of clothes, so that no matter what age my kids are at they'll have clothes available. I would also like to get more charcoal and propane to cook with. Obviously we can't have everything in our preps unless we are super rich. And we'll have to depend on the Lord in any case.

Flashlights with batteries. I don't like the dark. I become a jittery little kid when the lights go out, it's really pathetic. And the cocokids favorite toy of late seems to be flashlights. They disappear like crazy. I want a ready flashlight in every room.
I would also regret (thinking as if some disaster is on the immediate horizon) not having tried out more recipes with strictly food storage. Trying to make bread with powdered milk and stuff like that. Getting the "practice" out of the way first, so I'm more confident and I know the kids will eat it.
