Hillary is Toast

After Iowa, and now going into New Hampshire... with a freefall in the polling, Hillary has not only demonstrated she can loose. She has shown herself to be the self-absorbed, entitled, elitest looser that has always evaded public scrutiny. The press is slaughtering her persona of invincibility, and given an absence of substance, or experience, there is not really much else for her to run on. Yes!!!

South Carolina comes after New Hampshire, and given the racial demographics, She will be effectively finished. (The Obama Factor)

It is ironic that this woman will, single-handedly, reconstitute the conservative movement.

I'd say that you're probably right, Noel. It amazes me, though, because I thought that Hillary would win the Democratic nomination for sure. I never really seriously considered that Obama might. I still really don't think that Edwards will, despite his showing in Iowa.
With Hillary, it's sort of like they were trying to pass a steer in a dress off as Prom Queen. Hillary has a whole lot going against her. And yet, earlier, I still thought that she was a shoo in for the democratic nomination.
If Gladys Knight would run, that would cover all the bases; woman, black, and LDS.

Who would you really rather listen to in a State of the Union speech? Even if you disagreed with them?

Hilary was never the candidate the media made her out to be.  All she had was a name.  A name that never got more than 50% of the popular vote, and that was her slick hubbie.  The media put the top-heavy cadidate on a pedastel of dizzying height and Obama is blowing her over.

Am I happy about all of this?

All I can say is "Don't Stop Thinking about Tomorrow"!biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

I like Hillary now that she's a loser.

There was a point in the 80s as a young person when I actually considered the name Hillary for one of my future spawn. You know the lists you make of names? I've since changed my mind.

Instead now she refers to them simply as "Spawn 1," "Spawn 2", "Spawn 3" etc... biggrin.gif

My biggest fear used to be that Hilary would get elected.

Hillary still could win the democratic nomination, although I no longer see that as a foregone conclusion. She could win in New Hampshire today, for instance, even though the polls haven't been predicting that.
But it doesn't seem likely that she will.

After voluminous research and soul searching on a national level, it finally dawned on America that Hillary's main claim to the presidency is "After what Bill did to her with that intern, she deserves it!"

It's looking like America doesn't consider that a sufficient credential.

Rayb, we are going to have to start not liking her again.

Yep. Hate Her!

She won New Hampshire. She's really good playing the victim though...

As LDS, should we really hate anyone? After all, Hillary is also a daughter of our Heavenly Father. A daughter that's taken a seriously wrong path. But the Lord loves Hillary too.

I'm sorry, Arbi, but it's seriously strange to have you saying such nice, loving things with a Cthulhu avatar.

What the heck's Cthulu?

I actually got a twinge of feeling sorry for her while I watched her on TV last night. You could see Bill mouth to her, "I'm so proud of you." She got momentarily (like split second, if you weren't watching) choked up and immediately composed herself to address the people. I think she's an unhappy person. She thinks this position may somehow bring her happiness or fulfillment...

Arbilad's avatar looks like a republican ghost from Pac Man to me.

It's interesting that you should associate it with the Republican party. To me it doesn't looks about as closely related to the Democratic symbol as the Republican one.
