I dislike it when millionaire candidates try to appeal to the poor by portraying themselves as one of the common people. Edwards does that a lot. He says that he represents the poor, but he has $500 haircuts.

I like how Rush refers to Edwards as the Breck Girl.

There really is nothing new under the sun. EVERY election, to one extent or another, has one candidate making an issue of the amount spent by his or her opponent.
Whatever. Just tell me what you think, please, about the country and stuff. I already know that you all spend too much money getting elected.
I guess I just sorta thought that most republicans didn't view the possession or even the spending of money as a negative. Classism is old school democratic policy, but among the republicans, who tend to encourage entrepreneurship, market forces, and not demonizing the rich (aka taxing them to death) and pandering to the poor (treating them like hapless victims), personal responsibility, etc... Huckabee seems to be sending out a completely different vibe... well... besides being really patriotic and... oh, btw, did you know he was once a mainstream Christian preacher!?
