I'm watching Caillou with the kidlets (shoot me now) and I wonder something. Do y'all only have primary colors, white, and black up there? Because down here in the Union we mix them, sometimes with lovely results.

I know it's Canada. That's a joke between an old roommate and I. :)

Caillou is Quebecois, I think. I hear that the French version is much less whiny and annoying.

I've never seen it. My condolences, it sounds awful. But I've come to realize the Doodlebops are your fault.

May I offer in penance The Red Green show, SCTV and Due South?

And as far as kids shows, Mr. Dressup could beat up Mr. Rogers any day of the week, baby.

Calliou is not allowed in our house either.

Not because it is Canadian or Mexican or even because of it being French...

Calliou is a whiney butt! We get enough of that from our kids without the influence of a stupid cartoon character.

Barney isn't allowed in our home either... but that is because he is just plain stupid...

But, SpongeBob, well, he and his pals are almost like beloved members of the family! wink.gif

Hey, Dianoia, we don't want to take responsibility for Doodlebops... why don't we blame Australia for them? After all, they gave us The Wiggles, and were it not for them, no one would have tried to come up with a cheap imitation...

I LOVE RED Green!

Never heard of the other show.

That clip from So I Married An Axe Murder didn't go far enough, we always just die laughing when the two guys leave and the mom kisses the friend goodbye and tries to makeout with him. Pretty funny... and we have one of those kids with a HUGE HEEEEED! He hates it when I start looking for satelites orbiting around it.
