Ron Paul would probably veto everything so perhaps spending would come under control.

Thompson, McCain and Guiliani would continue with what we have right now.

Hillary or Obama scare the beejeebers out of me.

Huckelberry would be a disaster just like Jimmy Carter.

Hunter and Tancredo fit in with Richardson, Biden and Dodd.  The have an icecubes chance in hades of winning a nomination.

I hope that Romney could take care of business.

Polly, this campaign is just getting started.  Just sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

As Ron Paul states, he is not seeking power. He wants to restore liberty.
He acknowledges that the power is in WE THE PEOPLE. I believe with ANY candidate, they need support from with the people (unless they support the growing dictatorship mentality.) I see Ron Paul as being a vehicle that has helped unite people from all sects, parties and denominations in rediscovering the principles of freedom and liberty. That is what makes US winners. Not the office of Presidency. It is that education that the founders knew would be the preservation of liberty.

Freedom is for a society that embraces its principles.

Well, since I'm allergic to Ladybird, I think I'll just stay outside and continue to order pizzas.

The more Romney is talked about, the more opportunity we have to discuss our faith.

I want to say something snippy like "anything else is just politics", but I can't really bring myself to do it, because politics is very important. The national debate, where we all get together and talk with one another about what's important, and what should be important, and what should be done about it, keeps us healthy.

I've had a lot of opportunities to discuss mormonism. I get somewhat disappointed by those who dismiss it because "They knew a mormon" and invariably it's some story about some mormon who failed to live the standards of the church.

My reply is usually something like, "Aw, That's too bad. Sounds like that fellow succumbed to temptation." :)

I am no closer now to knowing how I will vote than I was 4 months ago.

Polly,

I think Mitt has a great record when it comes to what he did as governor.

I feel he would do better as President... although he has shot himself in the foot a couple of times in the past few weeks with what he "says" off the cuff.

I've also noticed he does better when his wife is around. Ann is a great influence for good.

Perhaps the campaign will slow down a little for the next couple of days with Christmas and all.

Again,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Polly. Go for another 50!smile.gif

Voters who want to vote for Ron Paul in the primaries need to re-register as republican sometime before the primary in their state.

All others need not vote.

Unlike the talk the talk candidates..

RON PAUL is not afraid to use the words "OBEY THE CONSTITUTION".

Additionally he is not afraid to actually discuss the real issues.. and in my opinion he is more educated in the real issues...

ONE MAIN FACT ..FIAT currency and creating money out of nothing have always led to economic collapse...THE US is heading that direction as well and RON PAUL is the ONLY candidate educated or at least willing to honestly discuss rather than avoid the issue.

Additionally RON PAUL is the ONLY CANDIDATE that isnt afraid to admitt that our foriegn policy is part of the problems we face, others seem to pretend that anything we do is acceptable and that we can do no wrong.

MORE of RON PAUL stance on the issues...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaFFA9Q6gGQ&feature=user

These are three major issues the other candidates do not openly discuss or in my opinion even show any aptitude in.

I'm starting to think that you actually support another candidate and you're trying to send people screaming the other way. Your mode of communication is very alarmist and off-putting and you're really not going to change any minds like that.

Calling the former Vietnam POW a hero, Huckabee said, "I felt like when Mitt Romney went after the integrity of John McCain, he stepped over the line."

Oh, isn't that just oozing with integrity. Huck's as phoney as a three dollar bill.
