On Fox News the group that they had watching unanimously said that Mitt won it.

I was trying to watch part of it live over the internet while I was working... stupid feed got cut after a while, right when Huckleberry was starting to talk about faith...
From what I heard / saw, that was anything but a debate. I don't know who would have been considered the winner, but Romney was the one who seemed to most consistently answer the questions straightly that were placed to him. The others all seemed to pontificate every chance they got, adding their stands on things that were not even germane to the question.
Keyes came off as a complete and utter fool... his responses relatively even made Paul, Hunter, and Tancredo look and sound more middle of the road.
Thompson came off sounding like a belligerent mule. McCain and Guilliani like seasoned politicians saying much without saying anything of substance at all. Hucklebee sounded plastic.

Well for the Romney supporters out there, hubby found this link:
I thought the debate was boring personally... They ALL sounded a little like milk toast, but I am convinced it was the Register's format that was at fault... That was the worst facilitating of a debate I have ever in my life watched...
I was very impressed with Romney in this debate. Between this debate and his speech from the Bush library, he now has my full support. My mind is made up.
As I said before, if he wins this thing the Church will see an unprecedented explosion in missionary work. Maybe it's all part of the plan....
