As I write this at about 8:15am, it is -13 fahrenheit where I live. I'm at work at the moment (my weather thing in my browser is set to my hometown weather), but it ain't much warmer where I work. The person I sometimes carpool with said that his daughter got called in to work last night because the parochial school where she works had a few pipes burst, and she had to help clean up.

It's not too cold here. We had a light dusting of snow this morning, and I actually kind of enjoyed shoveling our driveway and walkways. It was nice outside. :)

when I woke up this morning it was 49. That was cold! And there was this weird glaze in the sky...like I couldn't quite see things clearly. My eyes must have been clouding up because of the cold!
Or it was the stress of the final I had to take at 11.

Now I know you people who live in these western state where it doesn't get cold too often are not used to lower temperatures, but 45 degrees fahrenheit bone chilling???

Switch places with those of use who truly feel the cold this time of year for a day or two and then you'll know what cold is. Then you may feel free to whine.
Cat says he still has young men who wear shorts in 45 degree weather on camp-outs.
Today I saw a teenage boy at my daughter's high school walking back to the school from McDonald's in only a T-shirt and jeans and it was in the twentie's today. I decided he had to be insane of course.
I'm not sure that is something she should be encouraged to brag about... Isn't that kind of like bragging about being a dizzy blonde valley girl or something?

It's only 47 out there right now on it's way down to 39. That's downright COLD!
