Are you ready for co-ed locker rooms?

According to this article, there are some considering allowing anyone to use whatever locker room best expresses their gender identity.

It is almost an embarrasment these days to say that Poncho and I were married in that county... doh.gif

Here is a better approach, and will definitely help out with the economy.

Rather than letting people go to whichever bathroom or locker room strikes there fancy on a given day, let the county commissioners create a policy that requires 3 sets of bathrooms. One would have the universal symbol for "female", one the universal symbol for "male", and one would simply have a question mark on it as the universal symbol for "undecided/undetermined".

Am I ready for co-ed locker rooms?

As a teenage boy, I was.

As a parent of teenage boys, NO WAY!

Alright, is it just me or has the world been inundated with all kinds of ridiculous nonsense like this lately?
We have a hard enough time trying to keep our teenage autistic son from unknowingly exposing himself to our daughters (because he doesn't understand the concept) than to have to worry about them one day being in a co-ed locker room and seeing another boy "accidentally."

Sheesh. rolleyes

How on earth would they screen out heterosexuals that cross-dress just to get access to the other gender's locker room? I can see that being a prank some teenage boys would consider doing.

Crazy stuff. I liked the contra points in the article from the person who had a sex-change operation and now wishes they were "intact" and the doctor saying that someone who wants access to the other gender's facilities should be offered mental health services instead. Not everyone is crazy, and I hope the more rational view prevails.

why does it matter if we have private bathrooms, as long as we all have private stalls, we can always dress whenever and wherever.

For the world, there is no longer anything sacred.
