prayers for this girl and her family, for today and all the years ahead. The link is about a 4 year old girl who was abducted and sexually assaulted. This is obviously bad enough, no matter to whom or where it occurred. It did hit a special alarm button since the child was abducted from one of the LDS chapels.
Sad thing is from this article: http://www.wbaltv.com/news/14434617/detail.html, it seems we need 3 more of Roper and Ray's creation. But even that would be too mild of a punishment, I think.
Mom probably thought they were safe playing in the nursery or something. Don't know how many times my kids have played in the nursery while my wife was in a meeting or during home-making meeting (Enrichment sounds too politically correct).
I tend to be pretty strict about my kids running around outside of the building, but kids do manage to give parents the slip. Have to be a sheepdog even at church. We occassionally have a convicted, paroled child molester that was a member attend sometimes, have to keep your eyes open. Of course I advocate carrying concealed even at church.
Poor girls. No girls of my own, but I do keep a close eye on those girls at church. Our building is in the country, so not a lot of people around, but you cannot trust anyone. My heart goes out to them.

Pretty bold of this predator to go into the church like that. My feeling is that he must be familiar with the location but that's just speculation.
We had an incident in our ward a number of years ago where a assistant scoutmaster was molesting some of the younger boys. It seriously damaged the trust in the ward for a long time. Even to this day I am very particular who I allow to babysit my kids in the ward.
