As a side note... I am trying to read/find out what the candidates are actually saying/building a stand on... instead of just listening to sounding bites... I am finding it harder and harder to get through the garbage that passes as "news". The bias in the news and the casualness by which opinion is presented as fact is appalling! Am I the only person that feels this way?
I watched Huckabee on Glenn Beck's show last night and I may have to revisit my position on Ron Paul. I liked everything Huckabee said. I'm going to have to look into him a bit more now.
I don't have "tivo" (or any signal into my house, I am one of "those" people )... so I get my news from the radio and Internet... I have been reading the websites too... but they all have their own personal slant too... I was just wishing NEWS people would BE news people instead of promoters...
That's why you have to try and get as many sources as possible, and try to see through all the spin and viewpoints. And over time, you learn which sources are more consistently reliable and which biases they have. Because everyone has some kind of bias.
